Inside JobIt is abundantly clear that we, in the US, long ago embarked on an unsustainable fiscal course. With the enormous debt of the Federal Government, individual States, and countless Cities, along with our current borrowing spree from Foreign entities, a "day of reckoning" must come, sooner rather than later. Greed and fraud has been the practice of government officials, corporate tycoons, and bank officials. These human character flaws are unlikely to disappear any time soon. Therefore, there is a need to protect ourselves. As a CPA firm looking out for the welfare of our clients and community, we have a deep concern and are searching for ways to provide solutions to these problems. I draw your attention to an excellent Academy Award wining documentary film, "Inside Job", that encapsulates very well events that led to the financial collapse in 2008. I highly recommend everyone to watch this film. We need to actively pursue and evaluate viable options and alternatives in order to discharge our fiscal policies and responsibilities in a prudent manner. In as much as decisions made at the highest levels in government and in business have created the crisis we must all face, what can be done by each one of us to turn the tide of financial collapse in our families, our businesses, our local communities, states, and nation as a whole?
